Gain Valuable Insights Through School Reviews

 We provide independent and objective school reviews that offer valuable insights into all aspects of school life and quality of education. We conduct reviews in the following or tailored to your needs to support educational excellence.

School Reviews

 We offer a wide range of School Reviews, tailored to your setting and goals. Reviews available include:


  • Quality of Education: We review the effectiveness of your schools provision including outcomes, curriculum and teaching and learning and its success in enabling students to succeed and reach their potential (Reviews can be made specific to areas such as the curriculum).
  • Special Educational Needs (SEND): We assess the effectiveness of your SEND provision, including identification, assessment, support, leadership and inclusion practices.
  • Teaching & Learning: We observe teaching and learning in classrooms, analyse student work, and provide feedback on teaching and learning practices, classroom management, assessment and feedback and student engagement.
  • Inclusion: We evaluate how inclusive the leadership practices, culture and provision of the school is in line with all aspects of EDIB (Equality, diversity, Inclusion and Belonging).
  • Inspection Preparation and Inspection Support: We can support you as you prepare for external inspections such as Ofsted and ISI. This can include planning and coaching support to improve confidence, developing knowledge of inspection processes and ensuring you are fully prepared for current inspection frameworks.
  • Behaviour and attitudes: We unpick the strengths and areas for development in relation to behaviour management, student and staff attitudes to behaviour, the school behaviour culture, curriculum and provision and how the school is developing positive attitudes in students for both academic life and wider values.
  • Attendance: We work with you to understand, analyse and assess your attendance data, strategic actions and areas for improvement to increase group and whole school attendance.
  • Thriving students: With greater focus on personal development, wellbeing, and mental and physical health, we work with schools to assess how they create a supportive and nurturing environment where all students can flourish. We evaluate how leaders are championing the growth of strong character skills and values in students, how they are being supported through transitions and into the next steps in school or career lives and how students engage and contribute to their communities.

Whole School Reviews

We can provide two-day school reviews which are able to provide deep insights into the overall health of your school and quality of education. 


Typically these involve:

  •  Initial review of your school website and key documentation such as strategic school planning (prior to the visit)
  • Speaking with senior leaders
  • Speaking with leaders at all levels, learners and staff and other appropriate stakeholders
  • Focus on three subject areas (typically including two core areas). This includes lesson observations, learner discussions, staff professional dialogue and learning sampling.
  • Focus on one additional element of leadership and practice such as SEND and inclusion, behaviour and attitudes and / or personal development.


The two days can be customised to meet your needs, focusing on the key areas you wish to be explored.


You will receive a detailed report identifying headlines, measures, strengths and key identifiables for improvment and recommendations for next steps.
